Kyle the Apprentice Warlock is now a physical book.

It's been a few years in the works but we finally finished editing and publishing the first volume of Kyle the Apprentice Warlock. It's a little bit different from the story that I've been publishing to be read online. But those are minor differences. Editing for clarity, grammar, and spelling was a big time suck but necessary. There's also a brand new and pretty dope cover. The style was inspired by the art in one of the games I like to play.
Another update is the blurb describing the book which I've included below.
"Clerics, Paladins, Wizards, Druids, Warlocks, Sorcerers, Elementalists.
They might all be mages who use magic, but only sorcerers and their subset the Elementalists can create enough magic within their own bodies to use for spells. Wizards and druids rely on the ambient magic of the world around them. All the rest get their magic from a patron of some kind.
Enter the world of Kyle the Apprentice Warlock. A world where magic is an everyday yet dangerous part of life and too much of it can kill you. Mages have developed devices called Magic Collectors to keep the Ambient Magical Density (AMD) from reaching deadly levels in populated areas. Every major city has at least one. Among the dangers of magical arrow flights still zooming about the atmosphere from ancient wars, and monsters forming in the wild areas where the AMD is high, rose the necessity of Warlock Pacts.
Kyle is the most average everyday apprentice warlock one could ever be. As an Apprentice Warlock of the Archivist, the living magical embodiment of the collection and preservation of knowledge, Kyle is ubiquitously qualified for his position as an intern at The National Museum of Unnatural Science and History. Someday, he hopes to be made one of the renown Curators of the museum. His battlemage mother wishes he and his older siblings had made pacts with more combat-oriented patrons and joined the Magicorps like the long line of military warlocks they descended from. But what the world-famous Camina Wattkins doesn't know, is that while her son is an average apprentice warlock who is overshadowed by his exceptional family, Kyle is a phenomenal wizard."
There were a lot of challenges along the way. Not just with trying to keep up writing during the chaotic start of college this year, but during the publishing processes as well. There was a problem with the design of the cover and even though the eBook and Hardcover were distributed from the exact same files, the publisher sent an incorrect cover file to stores. Oops. So, we had to republish it a week later with the corrected cover. All's well now though and my book project is ready for purchasers.
My patrons all have a discount code for purchasing directly from my website. However, Amazon was listing the price at a discount from the recommended retail price also. If you'd like to purchase the book, it is available in paperback, hardcover, and ebook.
